Javier Campos is an Associate Professor of Economics in the Department of Applied Economic Analysis of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. His main field of research is competition and regulation in infrastructure and transport, as well as the economic evaluation of projects in these markets. He studied at the London School of Economics (MSc in Economics, 1992) and at the Bank of Spain (Doctorate in Economics, 1996). Since 1998 he has done consulting work for the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank, where he has gained field experience in various countries.
